Stress and anxiety are both a part of the body’s natural fight or flight response. When someone feels under threat, their body releases stress hormones. Stress and anxiety are part of the same bodily reaction and have similar symptoms. That means it can be hard to tell them apart.

Stress tends to be short term and in response to a recognized or imagined threat. Anxiety can linger and can sometimes seem as if nothing is triggering it.

I had never experienced hypnosis before so didn’t know what to expect but Heather is warm and welcoming & put me at ease from the word go. I recently completed a course of 3 sessions & found them really beneficial in reducing my anxiety levels around a particular trigger.

It has definitely helped me shift my perspective and Heather has given me tools to use outside or sessions if negative emotions become overwhelming.
